Clinical Nutrition

Clinical Nutrition is the science of nutrients and how they are digested, absorbed, metabolized and eliminated by the body.  It is always best to let food be our medicine, however with all of the chronic health conditions and the overall decrease in nutrient rich foods, supplementation with good, quality nutraceuticals are essential to gain a better quality of life.

In 1984  Jan obtained a postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Nutrition in Sydney, Australia, from the International Academy of Nutrition.   In 1995 she completed a training program with the National Nutritional Foods Association conducted by Bastyr College in Seattle.

In 1997 she received her Doctorate Ph.D. in Natural Health Sciences from Curentur University in Los Angeles. (Now known as the American University of Complementary Medicine) . One year later she studied with Dr Richard Versendaal to learn the complex system of Contact Reflex Analysis, (C.R.A.)

In 2014, Southern California University of Health Sciences awarded her with a certification in Applied Clinical Nutrition.  A.C.N.

Jan has also studied A.R.T , N.R.T, N.E,T, and Q.R.A. These are all different techniques to analyze the bodies structural, metabolic and nutritional needs by  muscle testing. These techniques  are designed to help unearth the root cause of a health problem or state of dis-ease.  They do not diagnose.
